This is a repeat of a presentation that recently took place in Pangbourne as to their plans to use part of Sulham Estate to enhance biodiversity and carbon capture in the area between Purley, Pangbourne & Sulham. Presenters will be Ed Cooper of BioCap Ltd and Henry Scutt of Sulham Estate.

Ed Cooper, founder and CEO of BioCap, a registered charity, will outline how the new Environment Act and the processes embodied within it can be used to create new habitat in West Berkshire. The work that BioCap is doing with Sulham Estate will be used as a case study.

BioCaps work creating habitat often means a more extensive grazing management regime on grasslands and meadows. A useful tool that can help with this change is the emergence of Nofence technology that creates virtual field boundaries and uses collars on livestock to control the areas grazed.

Rosalind Forbes Adam will tell us the story of how she founded the WoodMeadow Trust, and the creation of a 25 acre community woodland at Three Hagges Woodmeadow.
